Church & Church Hall

The Church of St Laurence Petersfield is named after St Laurence of Rome who was martyred in AD258.  We celebrate his feast day in August.

The other church in our Parish St Agnes at Liss is named in honour of St Agnes.

St Laurence’s was founded in 1890 and we’re lucky enough to have grounds where we have a grotto to Our  Lady and space for our Easter processions.

You can find out more about the history of the Catholic faith in the area and our church buildings here.

We also have a fully equipped and spacious Church Hall available to hire for local clubs and events.  For further details, see here.
