6th – 13th September
During this week, throughout the world, an event is taking place to arrange
non-stop prayer in every nation on earth, by inviting the global Church to pray
during a Global Week of Prayer. We sense God’s invitation to unite together to lift up the name of Jesus.
PACT (Petersfield Area Churches Together) are organising an event lasting the whole week at various churches in and around Petersfield to enable us to pray together. The aim is to cover every hour of the week so that someone is praying in Petersfield during every hour of the week.
Praying can be done in one of the hosting churches or at home.
Hosting churches are open during the day (7am – 7pm) but prayer can continue during the nights in your own homes.
If praying in one of the hosting churches please sign up (see below). For safety reasons we should try and ensure at least 2 people are present at any time. If a slot is booked there is no problem adding more people to it.
Each venue will be managed by the hosting church and will provide themed prayer stations.
Each day of the event will be hosted by a different church:
- Monday 7th September – St Mary’s, Buriton
- Tuesday 8th September – St Laurence, Petersfield
- Wednesday 9th September – St Mary Magdalen, Sheet
- Thursday 10th September – Petersfield URC (in the meeting room)
- Friday 11th September – St Peter’s Petersfield
- Saturday 12th September – All Saints, Steep
